OPEN ACCESS AND LICENSING POLICY

Open access and licensing policy.

The journal “Legal Ukraine” supports the principles of open science and encourages authors to ensure the openness, accessibility, and reproducibility of scientific research results.

The editorial board recommends that authors place the research data underlying the research results in open data repositories with a permanent identifier (DOI or other permanent link).

When preparing and disseminating data, it is recommended to adhere to the FAIR principles:

Findable — data must be provided with metadata and persistent identifiers;

Accessible — data should be accessible through open repositories or other reliable storage systems;

Interoperable (compatibility) — data must be presented in formats suitable for reuse;

Reusable — data must be accompanied by sufficient description for further use by other researchers.

If datasets were used during the study, authors may indicate in the article:

data storage location;

DOI or repository URL;

conditions of access to data.

In cases where disclosure of data is restricted by law, confidentiality requirements, or contractual terms, authors should state the reasons for such restrictions.

The journal editorial board reserves the right to request additional information regarding the availability and accessibility of research data.
