PROTECTION OF NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL CHALLENGES
The article, through the application of methods of analysis of international law of the 20th-21st centuries, the works of J.-J. Rousseau, G. Grotius, Y. Lypa, and comparative law, explores the modern understanding of the concept of national sovereignty, the threats it faces, the causes, and the common features of these threats. The results of the study show the need for immediate and decisive steps to protect national sovereignty by the consolidated forces of civil society, and explain its weakening due to the strengthening of left-wing totalitarianism, facilitated by the weakness of Western elites and the minimization of world politicians.
Keywords: national sovereignty, globalization, global challenges, international law, hybrid warfare, protection of sovereignty.
