THE SERVICE SECTOR AS A DETERMINANT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE HOTEL INDUSTRY

 The article presents an analysis of scientific research and identifies key areas of regulatory and legal regulation of the hotel industry of our country at the current stage of development. It is proven that the hotel sector in the structure of the hospitality industry performs key functions, as it offers consumers a range of services, in the formation and implementation of which all sectors and elements of the hospitality industry participate.

It is substantiated that in order to achieve the competitiveness of the Ukrainian hotel product on the world market, it is advisable to update the current regulatory framework taking into account international requirements for the quality of hotel industry services and adopt the Law of Ukraine “On the Hotel Industry”.
