The journal “Legal Ukraine” is a scientific professional legal publication founded in 2003. The publication publishes the results of original scientific research in the field of law, as well as interdisciplinary research related to legal topics.
The journal’s activities are based on the principles of scientific integrity, academic freedom, openness, objectivity, professional ethics and equal treatment of all authors.
Topics of the publication
The journal accepts articles in the following areas:
theory and history of the state and law;
constitutional law;
civil law and civil procedure;
economic law;
labor law;
land law;
administrative law;
financial law;
criminal law and criminal procedure;
international law;
European Union law;
judiciary, prosecutor’s office and bar;
interdisciplinary legal research.
Manuscript Requirements
Only original scientific works are submitted to the editorial office that:
have not been previously published;
are not under consideration in other publications;
correspond to the journal profile;
contain scientific novelty and practical significance.
Authors must indicate:
surname, first name;
place of work;
academic degree and academic title;
ORCID;
contact email address.
All articles must contain DOI (after acceptance for publication), as well as annotations and keywords in Ukrainian and English.
Reviewing
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review procedure.
The editorial office ensures:
independence of review;
confidentiality of authors and reviewers;
absence of conflict of interest;
objectivity of evaluation.
Based on the results of the review, the article may be:
accepted for publication;
returned for revision;
rejected.
The final decision on publication is made by the editor-in-chief.

The journal adheres to the principles of academic integrity and recommendations:

All materials may be checked for:
plagiarism;
self-plagiarism;
data fabrication;

Detection of such violations is grounds for refusal to publish or withdrawal of the article.
Use of artificial intelligence technologies
Authors may use artificial intelligence technologies exclusively as an auxiliary tool during the preparation of the manuscript.
AI cannot act as an author or co-author of the article.
Responsibility for the reliability of the data, conclusions and content of the publication lies entirely with the author.
Conflict of interest
Authors, reviewers and editors must report any circumstances that may affect the objectivity of the editorial process.
In the event of a conflict of interest, the editorial board has the right to change the reviewer or stop considering the manuscript.
Copyright
Authors retain copyright to their works.
Submission of an article means the author’s consent to its publication on the journal’s website and in electronic scientific resources and repositories.
Archiving
The journal ensures long-term storage of scientific materials by archiving on the official website and transferring materials to national information resources and libraries.
