The article is placed in a new section of the journal “Modern Foreign Constitutionalism”, which is conducted by Doctor of Law, Рrof. M. A. Baymuratov. In the opening address of prof. M. A. Baymuratov notes the need for the conditions of Ukraine’s European integration development to know the latest methodological approaches and theoretical best practices of the world’s leading experts in the field of constitutional law. In this regard, in the future it is planned to cover the study of constitutional law in foreign countries, the publication activity and the activity of scientific centers related to constitutional law issues on the pages of the journal. The first publication by N. V. Bocharova is devoted to the characterization of publications on constitutional law of one of the largest university publishing houses in the world – Oxford University. The author analyzes a unique base of sources on constitutional law, serial reference publications, in particular, the fundamental “ Max Plank Encyclopedia of Comparative Constitutional Law ”. The characteristics of the literature on the following thematic blocks are given: a) comparative legal constitutional research; b) analysis of constitutionalism in the framework of classical doctrinal discourse (constituent elements of constitutionalism, constitutionalism in the philosophical dimension, the problems of the social context of modern constitutionalism).
