Publication Policy
Publication Policy of the Journal “Legal Ukraine”
The Journal “Legal Ukraine” is a scientific periodical that publishes
the results of original research in the field of law.
The editorial board ensures openness, transparency of the editorial process, independence
of peer review, academic integrity and compliance with international standards of scientific
communication.
Journal Topics
The journal accepts for consideration scientific articles in the following areas:
theory and history of state and law;
constitutional law;
civil law and civil procedure;
economic law;
administrative law;
criminal law and criminal procedure;
international law;
law of the European Union;
other research in the field of legal sciences.
Interdisciplinary materials are considered only if they are directly
related to legal issues.
Submission of manuscripts
Only:
original scientific articles;
materials that have not been previously published;
works that are not simultaneously under consideration in other publications.
Submission of an article means the author’s agreement with the editorial policy of the journal.
Requirements for the design of manuscripts are listed on the “Requirements for Authors” page.
Reviewing
All manuscripts undergo mandatory double-blind peer review (Double Blind Peer
Review).
The editorial board makes a decision on publication solely based on the results of expert evaluation.
The review procedure is listed on a separate page “Reviewing”.
Academic integrity
The editorial board adheres to the principles of academic integrity and does not allow:
plagiarism;
fabrication or falsification of results;
duplication of publications;
unlawful authorship;
manipulation of citations.
All manuscripts can be checked by specialized software.

Use of artificial intelligence
Authors may use artificial intelligence technologies only as an auxiliary tool during the preparation of the manuscript.
The author is fully responsible for the content of the article.
The procedure for using AI is defined in a separate page “AI Policy”.
Open access
The journal operates under the open access model.
All published articles are available to readers free of charge.
The terms of open access are provided on the “Open Access” page.
Copyright
The authors retain copyright to their works.
Publications are distributed in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC
BY 4.0).
Archiving
The editorial board ensures long-term preservation of journal materials by placing them:
on the journal’s official website;
in the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine;
in other electronic repositories and information resources in accordance with the editorial policy.
Editorial responsibility
The editorial board ensures:
impartial review of manuscripts;
confidentiality of the editorial process;
absence of discrimination of authors;
resolution of conflicts of interest;
compliance with international standards of publishing ethics.
